Lee was fantastic. Very friendly and sorted out the problem with my starter motor without needing to replace it. The cost was also exceptionally good too. I could not more highly recommend Lee to you.

I cannot complain about Lee, he kept me completely updated but was unfortunately unable to repair my car as he had been given the wrong part as the car seems to be a bit out of the ordinary and has a different to spec part fitted, Lee explained all this to my satisfaction. It would be appreciated if Clickmechanic could provide an updated price for the repair please.

Alex was unable to fix the problems with my car instead he advised I take the car to a Peugeot dealer for repairs. I ended up taking the car to a local garage who did a good job fixing the car.

Reply from Lee:

I'm sorry you where unhappy with the service I provided I understand why. Unfortunately after arriving within the arrival windows specified on your booking, I found that you had a faulty clutch slave cylinder which fell apart in my hand after removal. I then fitted the new part and spent roughly an hour and a half trying to bleed it and get the clutch pedal operating properly. After further examination there was no fresh fluid getting to the clutch slave cylinder and the amount of fluid in the reservoir was not dropping. This indicates another issue with the clutch hydraulic system. I was only booked in to repair the clutch slave cylinder which had been previously diagnosed by "a mechanic friend"of yours. Whilst I was there I attempted three methods of bleeding and also asked the formula 1 autocentre behind where you live to borrow some equipment. Due to them having spare time one of their technicians attempted to assist me in bleeding your clutch to no avail. At which point we both concluded the car more then likely required a master cylinder aswell. I feel I went above and beyond to rectify the issue I'm sorry you don't feel the same.
