Unfortunately this was not my best experience of Click Mechanic, a service that i have used for most of my car servicing and repairs for the last 3 years. I posted the job (to repair a passenger door electric window that wouldn't close) on Sunday evening and JNC took on the job saying they could do the work on the following Tuesday, which was good as the weather was forecast to be dry until the Wednesday. On Tuesday however i was informed that they couldn't get the parts until Wednesday. On Wednesday i was told the part had arrived and they would be fixing it that afternoon. The afternoon came and went and there was no answer from JNC's phone number. I raised the issue with Click Mechanic and JNC responded saying that the wrong part had been delivered. Wednesday night and Thursday it was windy and rainy so the passenger side interior of the car got quite wet. Jamie from JNC eventually arrived at around 4pm on Thursday. In fairness Jamie was apologetic and carried out the work very quickly and efficiently, it was just a shame that it was 3 days later than originally offered and i would not have given them the job if they had told me they would not be able to do it until the Thursday. What you have failed to mention here is the fact I contacted you on Monday (the day before the appointment) to see if we could temporarily close the window until the part arrived. Unfortunately you were out of the area so we could not do this. I advised you at that time there was a chance the part might not arrive for the arranged appointment and that I would contact as soon as it did.
This was further delayed due to receiving the wrong part.

The pre-purchase inspection report was excellent and the discussion with the engineer was really helpful. However, I am a bit perplexed by the fact that the exterior pics showed signs of scuffs and damage but the report was marked as 'excellent' and 'condition like new'. Not sure how that is possible when there are signs of damage.

In response to your concern, that part of the report is merely a multiple choice tick box. The bodywork on vehicle in question would be considered above average for the age. I described the marks over the phone as well as sending pictures in the complete report.

Jamie turned up late but that was due to him being late on another job not his fault
Jamie was very knowledgable he got straight to it and explained what may be wrong with my car he was very friendly and professional at the same time would recommend him anytime
