Audi Q2 Diesel particulate filter (DPF) physical clean and regeneration

JNC came out to fix my DPF, they were unable to fix the problem but gave me diagnostics on why they were unable to regenerate my DPF, they also didn’t actually come out to physically clean my DPF although that is what I booked, they charged me £199 for 45 mins of work and a diagnostic which I believe to be quite extortionate, however the quality of the communication of the problem was very well put across, very informative and JNC knew what they were talking about, just don’t agree with how much I was charged.

What you have failed to mention here is you also claimed this appointment and the subsequent repair appointment charges back from your bank.
Stating they were fraudulent transactions.
So although you may not have been happy with my diagnosis and following repair (carried out by someone else), no one got paid for any parts or labour.

Honda Civic Diagnostic Inspection

I can't fault the quality of the mechanic's skills, he had diagnosed the problem before turning up and confirmed it on arrival.
I mark down for punctuality as he was 15mins late for the agreed slot, I would not normally mind but considering what happened subsequently I will mark down.
Communication gets 1 as there was none. It should get 0 but I can't award 0 the system won't allow it.
After the diagnosis I queried the price of the repair to be given an evasive answer, need to get the parts, see what's around, high-demand currently for this sort of part etc.
So I waited for a call back, there was none.
I used the "Send message" option to chase up after a few days, no response to this either.
I ended up paying £79.71 to have an expert tell me in effect, to take the car to KwikFit, which I did.
I was very happy with the work KwikFit carried out. They get five stars in all categories.
I am £79.71 poorer but wiser in that I will now use ClickMechanic to carry out specific work, I have had good experiences previously with MOT for example. If I am uncertain what the problem is I will continue to use the excellent five star KwikFit service
