Car was dealt with in a professional timely way. When a small issue was identified after the car was returned to me, it was again dealt with quickly and efficiently. All staff were polite and friendly.

Have used ClickMechanic many times and had a great experience. But not on this occasion with VAG Harlow. Initially car picked up and communication good. Booked and paid for a Power Steering Fluid flush and refill. Not what I got. Fortunately, I know about cars and the fluid was black (it should be clear and red). I videos the fluid using a white paper towel before. The car came back a few hours later and in the evening we test drove the car. The Power Steering was still heavy with discernible difference. VAG stated that was due to wheel alignment being out. I retested the fluid and it was exactly the same color. .. Black! So a flush would push all the old fluid out and then it would clean the system and then the new fluid in, it should be red and clear. Ok it's an old car, so reddish would have done me good enough. But no difference in the color or steering.

I contacted VAG and until they realized I am an ex mechanic (Many decades ago) they tried to suggest that they had done the work correctly. And it was now the alignment. So on the Sunday the car went to KwikFit for an alignment check. Didn't cost me anything, because lo and behold, the alignment was spot on!!!

Mechanic booked me for today 10:00am. and they didn't show. They refunded, I asked if they were still collecting the car, they have ignored us since and DID NOT SHOW TODAY.

Now we all need to trust our mechanics to do the job properly. This is the safety of your vehicle and most people would not know that a mechanic had not actually done anything to the car (or as I suggested to them, they may have flushed the system and refilled it with the same fluid, but that would fraud right? as I paid for new fluid! and down right dangerous to be honest. So use VAG at your own peril, get someone to check the work was done.

Very happy, earlier than booked because they had availability, which was great.
And the breaks are so much better.

The mechanic was friendly, and turned up on time, and brought the car back within a couple of hours. Very quick service.

Came on time collected car done the work required and returned with no issues at all. The collection was via recovery vehicle and was super easy. The driver was also the owner of the garage and was so helpful and polite. He done the work I requested and problem solved, thank you very much.

Was an amazing service provided. Very friendly and communicative. Will definintely book if needed again.
