I was a bit sceptical about booking on-line using the Click Mechanic platform. I needed my rear brake pads and discs doing due to a grinding noise so had metal on metal contact so needed a repair quickly. I went to Kwik fit and it was very expensive as was Halfords. My local garage was a reasonable price however he could only fit me in in 5 days and I didn’t want to wait that long. I booked my appointment as priority for Sat/Sun 5/6th April however I was allocated Monday 7th April at 2-4pm which was good as I didn’t need to pay the priority booking fee. Nigel arrived at 2pm picked up my car and dropped it off with the works complete at 415pm so very efficient. He also changed the rear brake light and topped up my windscreen water which was appreciated. I was very happy with the price I paid at 150 pounds which was the cheapest quote I had. I don’t normally shop around for the best price however I am glad I did and used Click Mechanic as I’ve saved a huge amount of money as my financial situation is not as secure as it was once. The mechanic was okay and friendly but very slow it took him two days over there original time to complete the job and on the second day I had to come down and help him with the job so overall 2 out of 10

Was late to turn up, no communication, asked me what I thought was wrong so I told him, he then took my car for a small 10 second drive. Came back to the door and told me exactly what I said it was. Never even opened the bonnet of my car. £70 for a 5 minute consultation...
Then to top it off was told a price for fixing the car and a day at they could come out for them to not message/ring about not coming.

Daniel was friendly, helpful and efficient. My car was picked up from home and dropped back off within a few hours with the work carried out at a very good price. Only travelled a couple of miles in car since repair but fingers crossed seems great so far. Highly recommend

Job done to a high standard. Not sure where the parts were brought from but cost £100 more than I've seen them available for. Came a day late and no refund yet if I was to cancel last minute get a £20 fee
