He was friendly I booked an inspection for gear selector and transmission but all he did was do a test drive and it cost me 63 pounds may be I'm wrong but is a test drive a inspection Im guessing I'll need to take it to a normal garage and get normal inspection we're people actually check the car for worn or damaged parts nothing else ican do

Hyder was absolutely lovely. He arrived earlier than booking time, but made sure it was ok. Arrived when he said he would. Checked and test drove my car a couple of times, couldn’t find any faults with it, however did advise what I could try to get stop the noisy gears.
Hyder seemed knowledgeable, was polite, was happy to explain any questions I had.
Should I need a mechanic again, I would 100% use Hyder.

Hyder, called me as he was in the area to see if he could come a couple of hours earlier which was fine as it actually suited me. He checked a few things in the car but couldn't find anything untoward. We took it for a drive where the 'popping sound' happened twice. He said this was to do with Sat Nav/stereo which I said there was no way it was this. Upon arriving at back at my car he did a full diagnostic check which unfortunately did not find the problem as everything seemed ok. Hyder was polite, courteous and very friendly but unfortunately my problem hasn't been solved ( I'm certainly not saying that's his fault!).

The guy point some things regarding car repair, but rushing all the time, which did not give me any confidence. This is 3rd mechanic I am using regarding this fix. No one knows what is wrong with the car. Will not use this service anymore. The guy was good, but to pay £73 and not get a proper diagnosis it's not fair.

Hyder was really helpful. Was not able to fix it but gave good advice on what to do and how to go about it.
