The clutch on my Volvo V40 not only failed but the pedal was stuck close to the floor. Videos on You Tube show that repair/replacement requires a lot of knowledge, skill and time. My car was taken away on a trailler around 09.00 and returned around 19.30 on the same day. All seemed well when I drove the car the next day except that the clutch pedal was higher than the brake pedal. This was remedied a few days later. Because the car was taken away for repair I did not meet the mechanic or see the worn parts. However the person who delivered the car was pleasant and he was attentive about my concern about the clutch pedal which was addressed.

He was excellent and I would recommend him and choose him again. He brought my car to life. Cheers .

Easy and efficient!

Wouldn't recommend or use again! Mechanic arrived an hour after designated arrival slot (which was already a two hour window) Took three attempts to contact them at which point they returned call and said they'd arrive in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later they finally arrived to pick up car. Took the car away said it would take 3-4 hours. After 5.5 hours they called me and told me it would be at least another hour. In total they had my car for 7 and a half hours not the 3-4 they had suggested. On dropping off the car they drove it back at sunset with no lights on and then proceeded to tell me that the part they replaced, that was supposedly leaking, wasn't the leaking bit at all and simply rusty so replaced that part and just emailed me a quote for the actual leak. Meaning to fix the problem I will now have to pay double the amount when the courteous thing to do would have been for them to have rung me and explained the situation and offered to replace the leak and pay the difference rather than just replacing a fine but old part of my car. I’m happy with the work my car stops when I push my breaks.. I was told an hour when my car was collected even though I wasn’t informed my car was being taken anywhere to be fixed, I was under the impression it was a mobile mechanic doing the work outside my house. There was no communication when he handed my car back, absolutely nothing. When he left they tried to take more money from my bank 3 times even though I had paid in full like the website says you do. Absolutely no explanation or communication prior to them trying to take more money from me!!

Didn’t meet him as car was collected from my hotel and delivered back.
Nothing else to say. Stupid asking me to say more it’s annoying me now
