Diagnosing faults: Using diagnostic tools and hand tools to identify the cause of a problem
Repairing vehicles: Replacing or repairing parts, and addressing system malfunctions
Performing maintenance: Carrying out regular maintenance, such as annual vehicle services and MOT repairs
Advising customers: Informing customers about the repairs that are needed and the associated costs
Testing vehicles: Road testing vehicles to ensure repairs are satisfactory
Updating records: Updating vehicle service records.
