I never met the mechanic, but their pickup/return drivers were polite and professional and the requested work appears to have been done to correct the issue.

My concern was the lack of communication and the assumptions made regarding returning the vehicle in a timely manner.

I started work at 0300, and had selected the earliest pickup slot available (0800-1000) because the quote page said the job was 2-3 hours to be completed. The vehicle was collected at 0910 and nothing was heard from the mechanic until I rang up to find out, 7+ hours after collection, where my vehicle was and why nobody had bothered to contact me? I was then informed the vehicle would be returned sometime between 1800-1900, eventually it turned up at 1820.

Car was picked up in the time margin given.
Dropped it back the next day.
Communication could have been better.
Landline wasn’t answered on the couple of times I rang,had to ring the mobile phone number to be able to speak to anyone regarding the progress of my car.
Overall,service was good.

Car collected on time, work carried out as requested and returned same day.

All good and everything explained re work recommended and undertaken, so noninpleasant surprises. Communication on pick up and drop off could be beteer

The work carried out was great, (never had commutation from the mechanic) it’s just ashame that it took 6 hours for a basic services. I was unable to get through on the phone for an update. And extra work was added onto my bill without discussing it first.
Being a single parent on a budget the extra £74 taken was an expensive I wasn’t prepared for.

Excellent work and good positive approach to the problems - they have my full confidence. My only complaint is with ClickMechanic who released payment before the car had been returned, inspected and/or accepted. Luckily the work was faultless so there were no repercussions.
