Terrible experience with this mechanic. Very rude and unprofessional. Contacted him a day before to confirm if he will be definitely coming at the scheduled time (8-10am), bur he did not respond until 23:30 at night. I told him the night before that I will need recovery and reminded him in the morning about it. I called him around 10am on the day as he did not turn up and he said he will need to phone his recovery. The recovery guy said I needed to wait even longer as he was not going to cancel his gym session because of me. I called the mechanic and told him this, he said he can't force him to come cancel his gym session and told me to wait or cancel if I wasn't happy. At this point I had been waiting for my car to be fixed for 2 days (also due to clickmechanic error) so I got a different recovery company to pick my car up and I asked the mechanic to cancel. He said I would not be charged anything but I was actually charged £20 so he lied to me. Terrible experience that put me through so much stress and had to get hotel for 2 nights Read more

You mentioned delays via ClickMechanic and issues with recovery. While I understand your frustrations, my role is to repair your vehicle, not to oversee transportation logistics or ensure the smooth functioning of ClickMechanic’s booking system.
Regarding the cancellation request, I complied with your request to cancel. However, I never indicated that the cancellation would be free of charge, as certain fees are standard practice in such situations.
I empathize with the challenges you’ve faced due to your vehicle being out of service. However, I feel the review may be unfair, as the difficulties with transportation arrangements or your decision to stay at a hotel are outside of my control and unrelated to the quality of service I provide.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any confusion, but as per your request, we arrived before 3 PM and were not late. Upon arrival, we noticed that part of the back interior had already been disassembled, which made the process more challenging as a few components had been unplugged.
We understand the frustration caused when the battery was accidentally unplugged again after we left by your son, leading to the issue recurring. Despite being 40 minutes away, we promptly turned around and returned to resolve the matter at no additional charge. In hindsight, this should have been addressed through ClickMechanic with a new booking, but we prioritized assisting you directly at our own expense free of charge.
To clarify, our return trip cost us more than £10 in expenses to assist your wife on two occasions. Nonetheless, we value your understanding and remain committed to improving our service.
