Renault Clio Car Won't Start Inspection

Perfectly friendly and punctual but made a really bad mistake. Car wouldn’t start and he inspected it for just a few minutes. Declared that the engine was in need of a £1400 repair. A week later I called out the RAC for a second opinion and they had the car started in minutes, and found absolutely no problem with the engine. I was going to scrap my car until I decided to get that second opinion. Really not good.

Very difficult to get hold of, 1 day job took 2 weeks and I waited in house over Christmas and new year for my car to be repaired.

Hi, unfortunately you car was booked in for repair on the 23nd of December so as most places are entitled to holidays over this period and parts suppliers close for holidays also,
you was however kept up to date every day we was open, and I’m also sorry I didn’t answer a phone call from you 830 am on CHRISTMAS DAY! However we are entitled to take holidays also!
So maybe next time book your car in around public holidays and that way your not expecting the impossible, your attitude on the phone was also terrible.
Your car took 13 hours to complete due to be being rusty however we did not charge you extra for this we still completed it for the original quote, it was also very difficult to locate a clutch kit for your car as the click mechanic recommended didn’t fit!
We also got a mechanic in on New Year’s Day to finish it and explained you could collect it that day and you chose to wait a further 3 days! So please also mention the truth when trying to bring down a business that tried everything they could to help you, .

You told me the time slot was 11:30-12 pm but I called mechanic and they said 14:30. I had to go out so left the keys in an unsafe place. This has no reflection on mechanic but click mechanic should communicate better with mechanic to provide accurate info
