The collection and service was good and the original quote for an interim service and MOT was very competitive. Where they let themselves down was the cost of two items which they deemed a failure on the MOT - one new tyre and new front wheel disc pads.
Having worked in the motor trade before old age retirement, the cost of a budget tyre which they fitted was extremely high - I could have gone to National Tyres and got a new replacement tyre for much less, but the worse part was the cost of replacing the disc pads on the two front wheels on a Peugeot 208 - £140. This is a simple job which should take a mechanic well under an hour to do both wheels and so the labour charge for an hour plus the cost of the pads should have cost well under the £140 they charged. I also asked for them to leave the worn pads that they removed in the car when they returned the car to me so I could see for myself how worn the old pads were - they did not do this so I will never know whether these pads DID need changing.
The concept of having the car collected to get it serviced and MOT is a good one, but when the final bill is more than twice the original price quoted, it gives them the opportunity for them to make money - I am not saying that these extra items didn't need doing - the replacement tyre did need replacing, but a person using this service should be very aware that you may end up paying a great deal more than you are originally quoted. Good service, was punctual and informative. Collection and delivery was good.

Mechanic was quick and helpful to communicate. The work was all done within the day as estimated and the call to notify was polite and offered additional help without being pushy. Very good experience!

Communication and punctuality were excellent.
When the car was returned after the radiator replacement job, the coolant system needed more bleeding, but Cristian was very helpful and flexible in getting it put right quickly with minimal inconvenience. Thank you!
