Look, it was replacing a snapped handbrake cable - hardly a major job. Obviously it works, and I don't have any real issue with the completed job.
However, the cable snapped on a Saturday morning. After trying to book a weekend appointment (at a premium rate), the only response was from this guy, for Monday.
Booked between 8 and 10am, by 10 he was not answering calls. Finally, at 10.15 he answered. First he asked if the car was drivable and could we take it to him. It was, but my partner was not comfortable driving it with our child and no handbrake. So he came at 10:40 and took the car away saying the job should tale a couple of hours and he thought the part had been ordered. We rang at 12 to be told they were on with the but, "with it being a mini, it's hard." Sorry, but they knew the make and model when they took the job.
By 2, we had heard nothing and with a school run imminent, after a few attempts, the phone was answered and the car was delivered back at 3.10. Almost 5 hours after pick up and way out of the 8-10am slot I had booked. No wonder it cost £170 to fit a part costing less than £20. Read more

Shamas was very good he was great at communicating and worked with me to get the job completed I would use Shamas for work on my car again

Unable to diagnose a possible issue - just advised to keep an eye on it to see if it recurs.

Shamas as turned out to be a complete scam and I’m utterly disappointed in click mechanics having expose me to such level of scam. Shamas had manage to convinced me that he needed to work on my car in his work shop after I paid ClickMechanic and the clutch pedal he claimed to repair still hasn’t been worked on. He had privately arranged for my car to be taken to his workshop and made me paid £40 promising I’m in good hands. He said the work was actually going to take a whole day if I don’t bring it down to the garage. He kept the car with him for a few days, told me to pay £550 for clutch pedal which I refused. Shamas apologies, said that price was a mistake, then asked me to pay £150 to change the clutch pedal, and at the last minute when my car was to get shipped back to me he came up with another issue that clutch cylinder is damaged too and now I should pay £550 instead of £150. At this stage I was desperate for my car cause I need it to get to and from work, I paid him £550. Also paid to shipped the car back , I noticed my fuel level has gone down. I also noticed the clutch pedal hasn’t been changed to a new one but he’s managed to fix the car. So I demanded to see the receipt for the clutch pedal and cylinder he claimed to get from Volkswagen StokeOnTrent and that is when he stopped picking my calls or responding in any way. Read more

Shama was super friendly and managed to complete the job even earlier than planned. Very happy with the work.

Expected between 2pm and 4pm and arrived 6.20pm although very pleasant, have not drove car as yet

Fantastic service, rang a few days before to confirm everything, again on the morning to give a pick up time and rang to say he was on his way back with the car. Extremely polite and professional would highly recommend
