Jack is a friendly and knowledgeable, although the job turned out to be alot bigger than expected he still had a look to see, if he can do it on the spot at workplace car park, but no luck there.

Jack was very friendly and carried out the inspection quickly. He spent the time to explain the issue with the car and talked over the options for fixing the diagnosed problem.
Although Jack was very punctual on the day of the inspection, he did have to cancel the first appointment (hence the 4 stars).
Overall very good service.

Terrible experience from the start. Jack was originally booked in to arrive at between 8 and 10 on the 15/03/25. At 21.50 on the 14/03/25 he called to say that he had rearranged to the 17/03/25 to arrive between 4 and 6. When he arrived I explained the issues that we were experiencing with the car which were that some lights on the dash were intermittent and the car sometimes went into limp mode. When Jack was present, there was only one light showing. Jack then decided to plug the fault code reader to the car. The code reader didn't work. He then advised to take the car to a main dealer {Peugeot garage}.
After only being at my property for about 15 minutes and unable to do the diagnostic inspection that was requested I asked Jack would I be charged even though he was unable to carryout the job. He responded, would I like him to cancel the job and I would only get charged £40 instead of the agreed £64.41. I tried to explain that giving the advice to take the car to a main dealer wasn't a diagnosis. Jack then tried to call clickmechanic to seek advice and try to get a resolution but the phone lines close at 5pm. Jack then left my property and within 5 minutes I received the invoice after being told that he wouldn't log the job as complete until we could speak to someone at clickmechanic.
In summary Jack was neither punctual or knowledgeable and arrived at my property without working equipment to carry out a diagnosis. However was really quick to issue an invoice for work that had not been carried out. The whole experience really felt like a scam and unfortunately I've had to inform my card provider of this.

Hi I’m sorry that you feel this way you requested a diagnostics and not a plug in diagnostics which on click are two different things but I thought I would try and way I gave you the possible things I thought it could be and advised the car dealer as they would be able to help,in which I spoke to click and because I had completed what was asked of me being a non plug in diagnostics it was up to me to carry on with the payment but I’m sorry you feel it was a scam but I can assure you it wasn’t.
