Where to start when talking about the wonderful Halim?
I requested a pre-inspection vehicle check of a Skoda Octavia, because there was the possibility that there had been a head gasket issue in the past. The dealer was of course saying that it was all fixed, but I wanted an independent check, and found click mechanic, and Halim picked up the job.

While the dealer had seemed very nice to my face, something had felt a bit off, and horrifically, the dealer both attempted to bribe Halim (who roundly refused to accept a bribe), and then worse, became aggressive towards Halim, when Halim found that there was severe evidence of overheating in the engine.

Our Mini clutch was replaced at a reasonable cost so we're very pleased with the work done. Unfortunately, due to bad luck, the car was away for three days rather than same-day return. but both Halim and the recovery driver kept us updated throughout with genuine apologies and updates. They're two honest lads working hard, so if all had gone to time it would have been perfect.
