Martin arrived dead on 11:00 and got to work straight away. Although it was in a slightly awkward position, the part was fitted without issue. Very friendly guy as well.

Mechanic was punctual and efficient.

It all started very nice with ClickMechanic but in the end my experience wasn’t so good.
The business idea is great. It's a very convenient way to get your car serviced. I 've contacted customer support via telephone and requested for special grade of synthetic oil (5W-40) to be used for the oil change. They gave me an approximate quote for the special oil with which I was happy and they 've asked me to put a special note about this when I was going book my appointment. I followed their instructions and included this in the comments.
The reservation confirmation arrived and indeed a very friendly and polite mechanic came on the agreed date to change the oil and the oil filter. When I asked him if he had seen my comments about the special grade of oil he said yes and that I was going to get that. After removing the previous oil I ‘ve noticed that he used already opened containers which had been refilled with some type of motor oil to top up the engine. In my opinion this isn’t a very professional thing to do because it’s impossible for the customer to tell the quality, brand and specification of the motor oil. I had to take his word about the quality of this oil which is not so easy to do on my first contact with this service. Later on he informed me that the specification of the oil that he used was 10W-40 which is indeed compatible with my car but not what I had asked for.
So, after this I don’t think I will ask again ClickMechanic to perform a similar service to my car which is a pity because everything else seemed to be ok about them.
