Mitsubishi Colt ABS Warning Light Inspection

Misdiagnosed problem. Mechanic said it was an ABS warning light issue that he couldn't fix on the call out. Garage - are replacing a wheel bearing. Mechanic submitted a quote to fix the wrong problem, £118. Glad I didn't proceed. Not sure what work would have been done.

Hi,
You has booked this job in as a ABS fault we have info of the fault and proof from a scanner that only indicates the one Sensor faulty out of four that are on your vehicle
The plug in diagnostic machine highlighted as you can see in the pic, shows it was a right rear wheel sensor. It is possible the wheel bearing was changed but the sensor would definitely have to be changed also as it was the wheel sensor which was the ultimate issue!
The ABS sensor has nothing to do with the wheel bearing.
