Carlton was great! Knew his stuff and got on with the job. Discovered my clutch was gone so could not complete the job which I thought was just a broken cable. Nevertheless, good humour and spirit. Only charged foir labour which I was happy with. Will be booking again with Click Mechanic for clutch replacement! Well done!

He was a friendly but wasted my time and money. I have told them what was wrong with the car, and £68 later he has told me the same thing

Carlton did a great electrical fault diagnostic - arrived on time, found the issue and explained what exactly was the problem (showing voltage measurements with / without faulty component as proof). Would definitely recommend using his services.

Carl did his job ok however
I was charged 60% more than I expected.
I was supposed to be charged £141.26 in the end It was charged £225.46.
Carl said extra work is needed when return spring broke off.
£84.20 for spring replacement is quite a lot ,
where it needed to be taken down and refitted anyway to do this particular repair.

You may try to justify it that Carl needed to go and get. In my opinion being a mobile mechanic put you in position where you need to go and get a part.
If I as a builder was charging my client for time when I get my materials I would be without work as they would laugh at me and get someone else.
I was showed on estimate that this work would take 1 hour . Carl arrived after 10 and finished around 5.
I am not really sure about this .

Other thing is that despite Carl was working on Builders van which is not the cleanest van around he left it all smothered in grease.
Steering wheel , plastics around it were covered in greasy dirt.

Plastic covers around steering wheel not clipped in properly.

I have a mixed feelings about all of this .
