Vauxhall Signum Clutch master cylinder replacement

Paul was not good changed master cylinder did not test car out same fault on car when we went out £250 for nothing ring him up to come and have a look did not come till after 6pm .then he said it may be slabs cylinder?some mechanic?he told me he can do it stil waiting?

Very unfair and totally untrue. I informed the customer via a phone call the day before what time I would arrive and also called to let him know on the day that I was on time and would arrive promptly. I was booked to carry out a master cylinder replacement that had been diagnosed by the AA recovery mechanic. I ran tests before replacing the unit to confirm that it was indeed faulty. The part was then fitted and the clutch system bled and tested. The clutch operated correctly but the customer was informed that the vehicle had a very noisy flywheel so a clutch/flywheel repair would be needed in the near future. Final tests and checks were performed by myself and a colleague before handing the keys back to the customer. I then received a call from the customer a couple of days later with a different clutch issue requiring the replacement of the clutch. I was unable to offer this repair as a mobile mechanic so recommended an alternative garage who were not able to book it in immediately and some how that`s my fault? Very sad that the customer decided to vent his frustration In the wrong direction as I would have been very happy to help in any way possible. Paul Read more
