Imran was brilliant. Rang me 30 mins before turning up very friendly, very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem in minutes. Iran was on time as well. Halfords couldn't find the problem in 4 weeks. I will definitely be using him again

Imran carried out a pre-purchase inspection of a Toyota Hiace van and identified a number of issues requiring attention. He produced his report within minutes of completing the inspection and was happy to discuss the findings afterwards. Imran diagnosed the car to have injector problems, but couldnt carry out further tests, he adviced me too sell as repairs as it will be too costly, he is very honest and straight talking.

The guy seemed to do a reasonable job. But the concerning matter is the fact he personally knew the person who owned the dealership were I plan to buy the car from.

Although I take constructive criticism seriously and value it highly as a tool for improving services for the future, I am left feeling perturbed and slightly confused by what you had to say.
Firstly, I do not understanding how it could be considered a "concerning matter" especially once you take into consideration that you had provided the wrong Vendor details in the initial request.
Once I arrived at the correct address and realised what was what, I continued to carry out my duties in exactly the same way as any other Inspection Interval.
I was the one that informed you that I knew the Vendor, that I knew him in passing only, otherwise you would not have known.
I was well within my right to tell you that I am unable to conduct the Inspection due to potential conflict of interest, but that would have meant a wasted journey from Liverpool for you.
I further decided against that because I don't know the Vendor's name and he doesn't know my name, so it would not have made sense to cancel the Inspection.
As we do not know each others names, it can easily be determined that the Vendor & I do not know each other personally.......
Would you agree?
Further, I carried out 30 or so more checks than you paid for, including under the vehicle checks, which brought to light the fact that the NSF CV Gaiter had split and the grease had completely leaked out, rendering the CV Joint beyond repair.
This check, as well as the 29 or so others that I carried out, was as a favour to you.
I informed you of that fact at the time and yet you would consider it to be merely nothing and that I only "seemed to do a reasonable job"?
Please do take a moment or two to clarify further, as I am left feeling like you've been let down and I would not like to leave anyone feeling that way.

Imran was very through and sent me plenty of photographs of the car I was intending to buy, showing me plenty of cosmetic flaws I possibly wouldn’t have picked up on! Needless to say I didn’t buy the car.
