Was happy with the work carried out but took longer than I was originally told which was a pain

One of the questions when signing up was is your vehicle legal to drive on completion of work. My answer was yes to this. So the company wanted to take my vehicle to their workshop to carry out the replacement of a starter motor.
They seemed surprised when I said it wouldn’t start even though the work being carried out was a starter motor. They mistook the question and thought the vehicle was drivable. They picked the vehicle up and carried out the work at their work shop. That evening i had a phone call whilst travelling back from work asking when I was picking up the vehicle from their workshop. I explained that I wasn’t aware that was the deal. The mechanic had already stayed longer waiting for me as he expected me to collect it, but my reason for using click mechanic is that the work can be done in the vehicles location. They now want me to collect it tonight before 5 which means leaving work early, docking pay and the same goes for my wife as she needs to drop me off during working hours for a vehicle that was supposed to be fixed at my house.
The fee has already been extracted from my account so I’m actually out of pocket on this matter. Lessons learned I guess. Unless the mechanics can work in situ or pick up and return the vehicle, I may as well book time off of work and use a garage as I’ve always done in the past. Click mechanic is a great concept but unless it delivers what is advertised there’s really nothing new about it.

Very impressed with whole process. The work originally booked for Wednesday but they were very proactive and actually arranged for the work to be done two days earlier,

All those involved, whether collecting or returning car to me or at garage when contacting me were very pleasant and polite. Also very efficient as car only gone for quite a short time.

The repair also was effective.

All in all a good experience

Great service I will definitely use them again had my car picked up and delivered to my home as the starter motor had gone. And a great price definitely use them again 👍
