I started my career completing my mechanical qualifications in 1982 and started off working in an agri-engineering business. In 1989 when I became fully qualified I worked in a garage in Wallingford for around 12 months before it was sold off for houses. I went mobile & set-up my own business as SKE Mobile Services for 9 years. I was out of the trade for around 3 years & I moved with my family to the Midlands and again ran the mobile mechanic business for a number of years. I was a welder with Comec in Derby for a number of years before moving to the North West of England with family & I have re-ignited my mobile mechanic business & have re-branded Kar-Techs. Alongside general vehicle repairs and dealer level auto diagnostics, I am also mindful of environment issues so consequently offer a full carbon cleaning service using state of the art equipment, as well as “off car” DPF cleaning for a 100% repair.
