Didn’t really chat, one man picked up the key, a lady dropped it back. Paperwork was left in the car so had to read what was advised. No problem as I can read and better for social distancing. Sensible Covid precautions.

Having not driven the car for a bit, the engine would power off each time I took my foot of the accelerator.
Richard (Lewis Motors Oxford) was great he found the fault and sorted the issue in no time.

Not sure if the work done is good as only front brake pads replaced. Won’t know unless they fail or found to be inadequate at the next service. However disappointed with punctuality. The time-slot for collecting the car was 8- 10am. Had to phone them at 10am only to be told driver had been delayed - why didn’t he tell me as I wasted 2 hours waiting - not happy with that. However, car returned in good time.

My vehicle was supposed to be picked up between 8am-10am. Wasn’t informed when within the 2 hour window to expect the driver to arrive. 10:20am rolls round and not a word from the garage or ClickMechanic to say they were running late or anything. At this point I contacted the garage asking where the driver was, I was told they would be another 10 minutes. The driver finally turns up at 10:55am saying that he struggled find my address, even though I had said when I booked that my address is hard to find and gave instructions how to get there, and he took my keys without an apology for his lateness. I needed to be leaving at 14:00 so was concerned that my car wouldn’t be back by then due to it needing a major service, rear pads & discs changing and MOT. I can say that the garage redeemed themselves somewhat by having my car back by 13:45 and replacing my rear number plate bulb free of charge.

I can’t fault their work as it was to the standard that I’d do myself.
