Very friendly. Turned up late but amiable. Lots of Knowledge which sounded but it was all like he was adding to the job and extending it. Didn't actually fix what he had been booked in to do but gave lots of reasons why!!

Thanks for your feedback,

Your vehicle had a failed passenger side brake cylinder leaking fluid everywhere hense why your pedal travelled to the floor and hand brake didn’t work as the shoes had worn very low adding to cylinder failure. The repair I offered you was for Cylinder and new shows you decided against the repair however this would of solved the vehicle issues

This was for conducting a "Diagnose parasitic battery drain".

Could not identify the cause of drain, blamed it on the battery and recommended a new battery (which I did get him to supply and install). The problem persisted with a new battery. Jonathan's response was to try make sure I did not call him back and blamed me for the issue. He said because of the cold weather I need to make sure the car runs "every few days", which I was doing as per what he said.

A Kwikfit service guy was able to pinpoint the issue during a service (by going through the fuses and identifying a faulty relay) after I asked him to look at the issue.
He also said that if the car is working well and the battery is good, it's "nonsense" to say that you need to run it every few days in the north west to avoid battery going dead. It's Macclesfield, not Siberia.

Anyway to cut a long story short, it's all good now, I have a working car and a battery that doesn't die every few days. The money and time spent on the diagnosis was a waste.

Hi Rahul,

Sorry to hear this, upon doing a battery drain test your vehicle did not have a drain on standstill(shut down) the battery was showing as at fault.

It was either possible for an intermittent fault or a new fault you show the relay issue, that you have since found.

Our last communication from you was that you was going to jump start and drive vehicle and then contact me again, I had no further contact from you.
