Everything seemed to be OK . The mechanic was to undertake a pre purchase check of a motorhome that we were buying . He communicated well and turned up to do the check in Somerset on time . His verbal report and written report were very good in terms of advising that the vehicle was in a great state of condition particularly the underside structural areas we street were most important .On that basis we went ahead with a expensive purchase . The vehicle was delivered from Somerset to North Yorkshire and on my first inspection of the vehicle I saw that the floor of the vehicle was rotten in one corner and ready to give . How this was missed I do not know and we are left with a vehicle that possibly cannot be made safe or if it can it will be very expensive as the interior toilet and showeroom will need to come out to get at the floor and replace with a sound one . Very very disappointed that something so obvious was missed despite me stressing this was a structural area to really look at and report on . Read more
