Vauxhall Corsa Cylinder head gasket replacement
Remove and refit camshafts. Replace exhaust valve on cylinder 1.

Made my car worse than before he fixed it.
I booked in for head gasket then he said it was more so paid more money for the car to fully stop working wouldn't recommend. Wouldn't get a 2nd opinion out on the car either

Volvo V70 Alternator replacement

Mechanic communicated well and observed belt wear and suggested a replacement whilst changing alternator. As it was relatively cheap it didn’t feel like upsell and more like a conscientious mechanic. Alternator was the wrong type but they sourced the correct one with no fuss and finished the job. Highlighted warning message was still there despite all readings correct. I was worried about this as it may mean a trip to Volvo to do the same job again but the message has cleared now and all seems fine for the time being. Felt like the mechanic let me informed all the way through and was keen to do a good job. Now warning message has gone I’m happy. I will recommend ClickMechanic for certain types of work. Read more
