I did my apprenticeship with a main dealer, and continued to work with various main dealerships for about 8 years. I left the main dealerships to work with some local independent garages until I moved on to a management position at Kwik Fit, and stayed there for a while until I decided to leave and start my own independent mobile mechanic business - and I've been here ever since.

I was a little surprised that ClickMechanic would send a mechanic to change a clutch who arrived without new gearbox oil, and who was neither prepared, nor able to change a gearbox oil seal, (which I would have thought was a standard procedure during a clutch replacement?)

I'm sorry that you wasn't happy with the service I supplied I do a job that I am asked to to perform and use the parts that I am asked to fit in the price quoted to you gear box oil change is not part of a clutch replacement but is required to be drained to perform the job and at the time the oil seal wasn't changed because this isn't standard practise and as you live In a rural area the part wasn't reachable but I did advise you of the problem and made it clear it needed to be done asap sorry for inconvenience
