This is a genuine review. At 1st I thought Joe was nice and polite then once the job had taken him longer than the time frame suggested Joe got aggressive and angry and asked me for more money, I told him I had paid the amount quoted by click mechanic and that it was up to him to speak to his employers for more money. He threatened to leave my car half done and parts everywhere to which I said I would sue click mechanic. After that the atmosphere was tense and he proceeded to finish the job. During the 1st phase he told me that he had used a second hand part as he sees them as better than aftermarket products. One the Job was finished (starter motor replacement) the car still didn’t work and I don’t know if it’s from the second hand part he used which wasn’t tested in front of me and as click mechanic terms and conditions state ‘we only use OEM parts or new after market parts’ it was a breech of terms and conditions was the fault or due to the fact he was very unhappy I wasn’t paying him extra cash and that it was bad workmanship and installed incorrectly. The quote was only mildly cheaper than a local garage and I’m stuck with a car with the same issue massively out of pocket and it’s been 3 days so far and nothing has been said or done to help me and click mechanic hasn’t done anything to help as of now. Avoid!!! Cause if this mechanic doesn’t fix your car in the time stayed he will demand extra money and threaten you. I will raising a dispute with the bank and speaking to trading standards. Firstly I should state that I had two mechanics the first arrived took the alternator out went off to get another and said he would be back the following day I still have the text to say don’t panic I will be back tomorrow. I tried calling him texting him and no response, nothing. The stress he caused me and my wife, she thought we had been scammed , was unbelievable. The job was then cancelled money refunded. I then had to through the whole process again meanwhile spending £60 on taxis to get to work. I asked for this to be reimbursed and nothing.
Last Monday Joe another mechanic turned up with new alternator fitted it but battery could not be charged but he noticed it was a Bosch and he told me that it had a 4 year gurantee or warranty so I contacted the garage and our Son picked up brand new battery and fitted it. Car now working but the first mechanic a complete waste of space, no reimbursement of the £60 that I had to spend because of him but Joe the second mechanic was brilliant and I will ask for him again Thanks Joe Read more

He was great and very helpful and polite. On time and fixed the problem promptly and studiously.

Couldn't fault the mechanic at all. I must admit I had my doubts about the whole process but he was friendly, found the problem, did the work and did a good job with a solution plus also pointed out low coolant. What more could you ask for.

All they done was checking the fault I’m happy they think they found the fault
But as for fault repairs n service together it seems too deep for me to pay so I want know how much repairs cost leave service
