Due to time constraints, and no experience whatsoever in buying a car, I was delighted to find I could book a mechanic online on a Friday pm to check out a car for sale by a private seller on Saturday am. Though I got the email report within two hours I didn't find it very detailed or informative so I attempted to call and text the mechanic. In fairness he did get back to me a couple of hours later with a voicemail to say that the car was a good one and just needed a few minor things like one tyre and a washer. Unfortunately within two weeks I've had to get the other three tyres replaced, realignment and a wheel repair, all cost I would have negotiated from the seller had I known. I had a phone call from the very lovely Gary to say he was outside by my car. We chatted for a few minutes and he explained fully what he was going to do. When the report was ready Gary told me what the fault was and did not just skim over the details. He also fixed the problem for me and I was not charged any extra. I highly recommend Gary and would use his services again.

What a great experience. Gary phoned in the morning to give me an ETA and arrived when he said he would, van equipped to tackle just about any problem your car could have. After a brief test drive the car was up in the air and Gary set to work, determined to find the cause of my issue, methodically ticking off the possibilities. In no time at all Gary had found the problem, fixed it and another quick test drive confirmed it.

I'd taken the car to other national 'mechanics' who had supposedly diagnosed the the issue through visual inspections, needless to say they were wrong, and would have cost a fortune in repairs that were not needed. Gary, unafraid to get his hands dirty and get under the car has saved me a great deal of money.
