The mechanic who came was friendly and completed the work quickly can't fault him.

What I have to fault is the punctuality.

I was given a slot of between 12:00 and 14:00 it got to past 14:00 so I decided to call Westbourne, tool forever to answer the phone and eventually through to the right department, turns out my mechanic was running late and they promised the latest he would be was 16:00.

I took this not very happily though as I will have now waited in 4 hours awaiting the mechanic. It got to 16:00 and once again no one turned up, I had called again and there phone rang off twice before I eventually got through to someone. Well apparently my mechanic was still running late and he would call me back letting me know when he would be there.

Well at 16:40 I got a call back saying he will be there within the hour as he was just finishing off another job. Well eventually he turns up at 18:00 I cant fault the mechanic at all.

But I recieved no calls from Westbourne to tell me he was running late, I had to call myself multiple times to find out when he was going to be round, eventually waiting in for 6 hours for a 2 hour time slot to get my car sorted, no apology from Westbourne just a "I don't know why no one called you"

If you want a good mechanic use Westbourne if you want them on time don't bother. Read more

Andy was incredible. Did the job quickly, communicated throughout and gave some fantastic advice. Couldn’t have asked for more

Arrived on time worked quickly and tidily and completed work very quickly

The mechanics name was Tom and my wife found him to be knowledgeable and friendly.
And was very pleased with the work carried out.

All good. Job done as requested though I still have an issue in that the problem has come back.
