Ged the mechanic was running a little late so he called me to let me know his ETA. His office also called me to make sure that he'd called me.
The repair took longer than expected, but he managed to fit the alternator, in the pouring rain. My battery wasn't starting the car and needed replacing so he sold me his spare one after contacting his office, which was a great help as I needed the car the following morning.
