Usman was honest enough to ask me if I wanted a genuine Skoda timing belt when he arrived to collect the car. It would have been much preferable if his quote for £c425 had made it clear this figure was for an aftermarket timing belt, although for a genuine Skoda pump. He then gave me a price of £470 for fitting the genuine parts, which I accepted. There was a lot of to and fro with texts about this and about making clear both parts were genuine on the receipt. I hope this has been a learning experience, as I think Usman and his partner are good mechanics. However time will tell, as I have no way of judging, although Usman did at my request give me the old parts, which was appreciated.

sorry didnt catch his name but first class job, i was booked in for brake pad replacement but communication from the company was excellent he advised me i needed front discs as well which he gave me a quote for the whole job which was very competative, and would have costed more if i had went elsewhere again many thanks for first class job right from collection and delivery
