the mechanic arrived on the Wednesday to replace the spark plugs on my car, after spending a few minutes looking at the car he didn't have the tools to fix the issue. He returned the following day and "replaced" the spark plugs with new versions. following this my car was still misfiring so after taking it to a mechanic at a garage they said that the spark plugs hadn't been changed and were merely just cleaned. After they changed them for half the fee the car has been driving perfectly without fault. would not recommend and I'm going to inquire into getting a full refund.
