Shane arrived 30 minutes before the scheduled time which wasn't a problem as I was at home all day. He arrived and departed with a smile, something you rarely see from mobile contractors these days. I was so impressed with his eagerness to find a solution to a problem I had with the suspension, I gave him a tip because CM takes 25% commission which is way too high! Overall, there was nothing wrong with the suspension and the focus pointed to the front alloy wheel that might be bent after hitting a kerb a few weeks ago. Shane was great. He was efficient and helpful. However, I do have a quibble with the booking system. I understood that I had booked an MOT which was what I actually wanted and had added a vehicle health check. Shane’s booking only had the health check and he was not set up for the MOT. So this was frustrating as I now have to rebook this.

Shane completed the inspection in a timely manner and then (as requested) rang me straight away to discuss the car, which I was potentially going to buy. He ran through everything he had examined on the car and made me aware of a mechanical issue which, after I investigated repair costs, stopped me from buying the vehicle. Shane potentially saved me £1400, which I'm extremely happy about. He was friendly, thorough, and I can't recommend him highly enough. If I could have him inspect every car I'm looking at then I would.
