Hello, thanks for your feedback, i would first of all like to say i told you what the problem was right away! It was the adblue system relating to your exhaust. You then told me your car doesnt have adblue. So yes i did use google to locate your adblue tank as it can be placed in many locations, and we did! It was hidden under layers of the boot, and you found out where it was after 2 years of not putting adblue, causing smoke and the issues related. I explained you have most likely clogged your DPF causing the smoke, when you thought it was burning coolant and engine was completely damaged, which i confirmed it wasn't, also showing you where the coolant expansion tank was and topping it up for you and explaining why its not your coolant and was indeed the adblue system. So i correctly diagnosed your car and did put the fault codes into google to also back up my findings and explain to you better what the issue was which was correctly identified with others stating the same symptoms on peugeot forums online. I did say you might be able to use additives to try clear up the DPF but at your own risk which is the cheapest option and could potentially help, then it will have to be around £300+ to chemical blast the exhaust, and then £1000s+ for a new DPF and adblue system which no £76 will save! I also told you the other method people do which is adblue delete! Sorry you wasnt happy with my diagnosis of solving the diagnosis and giving you an understanding and idea of where the problem lays and every option to fix it, which is what i thought a diagnostic was for! Unfortunately, i did say you might need a new DPF or could get away with a chemical cleaning it. So please consult peugeot themselves if you are not sure with my diagnosis and what the diagnostic tool was saying, and also my needs to do so research on the way to help us locate and identify trouble fault codes stored into the ECU and finding the adblue tank! I finally would like to add that i am fully mobile and only recommend a garage to you, as peugeot waiting list is too long for you, which meant i had to drive 1hr40mins and over 30miles each way! I think what i done for you was very worth it for you and i hope ive clearly explained everything to you now if it wasnt clear in the report and the appointment! I did also tell you you could call me at any time if you needed further assistance which you havent, so am disappointed i got this feedback as i tried be as useful and helpful as i could be to you.
