I had my car booked in for an MOT this morning, the mechanic was prompt to pick it up, I was booked in for 8-10am and he came at 8:30 which was amazing, my car got dropped off at around 12:30, overall very happy with this service as it saved me the hassle of dropping off and picking up my car. I would definitely recommend this service to others for hassle free MOT’s.

Paul was great. Came a litter after the time slot but it wasn't problematic as I was free all day. Promptly diagnosed, explained and sorted the issue with my car. I'd only placed the order on ClickMechanic late last night (a Sunday) so was amazing to have someone able to come out and diagnose the car first thing Monday morning.

Very happy with the service and finding Williamson Bros garage as a garage I can trust to maintain my car. The work I required was a crankshaft rear oil seal, having just bought my second hand car 4 months ago from a local AA approved garage. The AA looked into the repair and say it is expected wear and tear for an older vehicle of ten years and so I was left to pay for the repair. myself. The garage I bought the car from said they would repair it at a trade price of £300 plus but I didn't want to use the garage who had sold me the motor for the repair and so looked online at how much it was going to cost me to repair it elsewhere and found the repair cheaper through ClickMechanic at £273. 50 plus vat.

Paul the owner of Williamson Bros personally collected my car for me from my home - which I found a bonus to the service. Paul offered to price a replacement clutch for me to the it is likely to be contaminated with oil and this would NOT cost me any extra labour. Paul let me know that day the work that had been carried out to my car in an sms message and when he returned my car to me the next day at home, he had the invoice for the clutch . I was also shown photos of the parts replaced, which was useful for me, including the worn parts removed. This I appreciated. Mechanic arrived at 7.22 AM on the 18th April took the car away for its MOT.
When he got back mad news the car
had failed. He asked me if I wanted a estimate for the work to be done.
I agreed. I haven't heard from him since. Have tried to get in touch but no success, text sent, tryed to phone
Still waiting. He could be busy, I don't know, bit disappointed!! If I have missed enything I'm sorry.
