Went to these guys through click mechanic they did the repair quick but then my engine guard fell off, so I called and asked if I could pop down on a weekend so they can screw it back on and first I was told he had seen pictures and it was put back on correctly (he failed to produce these apparent photos) and 'strong winds' could have caused it (bear in mind its and engine guard so its meant to take a beating to protect the engine so 'strong winds' will not have caused this) and was my fault. I then said it has never come off before, they had to take it off to do the repair on my clutch and then put it back on so the fact that it just fell off a couple days later tells me it wasn't Put back on properly, which is no problem, I just wanted them to screw it back on which is a 2 minute job. He then said 'look at the state of your car', referring to a dent on the back left which was a result of me being rear ended 8 months ago, which has nothing to do with the engine guard anyway. He continued to deny responsibility so eventually I obviously got pissed off told him to f*** off and hung up. After this he called me straight back said he would do it but I would have to come down on a weekday, I explained I cannot take a day of work to bring my car to him to fix his mistake so I asked if he could send someone out if he cannot do it on a weekend, again this is literally a 2 min job. He then said he is too busy to send someone out and said he does not work weekends so again I got fed up with the constant excuses and hung up. After this I got a text saying he would repair it on the weekend but at this point I was no longer willing to spend my money or time on an hour and twenty minute round trip so he can fix his mistake (which I was willing to do in the first place) so he would have to send someone out to repair it and told me that if I 'asked nicely' I would get a different response (I was being friendly until he said 'look at the state of your car' and it was 'strong winds'). I was then told I would have to wait a week so he can fit it into his 'busy schedule' so at this point I was so fed up of dealing with him that I decided to figure it out myself. Very disappointed at the way I was spoken to as a customer who had just paid £820 for a replacement clutch literally just wanted him to screw a guard back on, I don't know if he was in a bad mood or what or why he made such a fuss of this. If you go here make sure you give everything they touch a good check over before you leave as after you leave they do not care about the customer.
