Gurdit was friendly although I cancelled the booking as the charge was £71 and I didn’t realise that was just for an inspection so I asked him to cancel only if it was free to do so. I was then charged £20 and sent an email re I’ve been charged by independent mechanic. He was coming after work so a few text message exchanges didn’t warrant the charge. I’ve used click mechanic on a number of occasions and had great mechanics and service. This was a little disappointing especially as I had no reply after telling him I’d been charged. I wouldn’t request Gurdit again unfortunately.

Hello,
I could not cancel on my side, if I was to cancel, the job would have been resent to the whole Click mechanic database. Your reasoning for cancellation was not possible for me to do and something click mechanic admin would’ve had to do which I explained to them your booking issue and I was told they’d be in contact regarding the cancellation fee.
I had to free my evening for this booking so it also caused me an issue but it’s not a problem.
Whenever there is a issue with a vehicle it will start with a diagnostic, there’s no way a car can be seen and fixed unless it’s a simple problem on the first visit which coolant loss isn’t.
I was expecting click mechanic to explain the cancellation fee but it would’ve been in your terms and conditions prior to the booking.
Unfortunately there was a charge which I would not have been concerned even if there wasn’t but it’s click mechanics terms and conditions and there was no way around it.
