I completed my degree in motorsport technology and I got a job working for a historic Porche racing team. Whilst there I would undertake full vehicle restoration and race preparation. My specialty was engine rebuilds and machining.
Unfortunately whilst driving to work one day I was hit from behind by another road user at speed. I was badly injured and needed time away from physical work to recover.
I got a job working for the government covering a wide range of policy from MOT to heavy goods and public service vehicles, ensuring Britain's roads where kept safe.
