My mechanic was friendly, but within a day of getting my car back following the clutch replacement, the car started to judder. I very quickly found that the cause of the judder was loose wheel nuts..... the mechanic would have had to remove the wheels to gain access to the clutch housing.
So although easily remedied, it did cause me to lose income for the day's lessons (I'm a driving instructor). When I contacted the mechanic he clearly didn't believe that he would have left the wheel nuts untightened, but he did agree to a small refund to go towards my lost income.
I didn't send in this review at the time (April-2023), because I felt neutral about the issue and didn't want to damage the reputation of the mechanic.
But now a new issue has arisen, beyond any possible warranty period, and it's going to cost me dear, so I feel I should warn others.
I went to ClickMechanic in April-2023 because the clutch on my Fiesta was slipping and clearly needed to be replaced. Getting access to the clutch is labour intensive so the majority of the several hundred pound bill is for labour not parts. But now, 21 months later the clutch is starting to lose hydraulic fluid from the slave cylinder, causing it to drag and make gear-changing difficult. Slave cylinder replacement on many cars is fairly straightforward, but not on a Fiesta. I’ve now come to realise that the slave cylinder on a Fiesta is internal to the bell housing and for that reason, most experienced mechanics would replace it at the same time as replacing the other components. They would at least explain the issue to the car owner to make the decision as it would add a little to the bill. But this issue was never mentioned to me by my click mechanic, so here I am less than 2 years further on, and again facing a several hundred pound bill for someone to get inside my clutch. Read more

Terrible, to start with he was late. I wanted clutch replaced which was quoted around £300, not bad. However then tried to charge me £450 for replacing cv boot and ball joints because he had snapped the bolt on one. That’s not a £450 job. Seemed to me like it was never the intention to do the clutch just do jobs that around it to make money. Attitude went from professional to using terrible slang and then when he dropped the car back didn’t say a word, basically threw the keys at me.

The Mechanic was very friendly and explained exactly what they were doing they also gave me advice on my other brakes and put my mind at rest that they had plenty of life left in them.

Jason was fantastic. After the initial confusion (on my part) about what time he was actually going to start the job, he got stuck in and was very thorough and helpful. He gave me a list of things that need doing on this new car of mine and I will get to them asap. But I felt that he knew his stuff and would highly recommend him. I am very happy with the work he carried out.

Couldn't be happier. I was called 30 minutes before he arrived to let me know when he would be here. Arrived and did the work at the house during the designated time, was very polite and got on with the work in an efficient manner. Happy customer and would use him and the ClickMechanic service again.

Having been let down by Kamran from KAR Auto Mobile Services London Jason took the work on and got the car fixed and back to me the following day. Job wasn't easy as the car is 22 yrs old so things don't come apart very easily but Jason got the job done.

Jason's work was great, would use again. Happy with the work done, thanks. Click mechanic's time estimates are not very accurate though so check with the actual mechanic if time frame is an issue.

The work was done well and my car subsequently passed its mot. Sadly the clips had been snapped off the scuttle cover and the tube to the wipers pulled out. I now need to replace the scuttle clips and i have reattached the washer pipe myself.

Jm&son were terrific. Kept me well informed through out and despite complications were quick and efficient.
