Phil helped us out of a Christmas breakdown dilemma, after being let down big-style by the recently launched RAC mobile mechanic service (mechanic arrived, and decided that the car wasn't parked in an appropriate position to affect a repair, despite the RAC recovery man telling us to put it there. He cancelled the job and drove away without even knocking on the door - how's that for service!).
Phil's communication was great, and despite difficulty getting a replacement part, during the Christmas break, he persevered, and made the repair whilst we were away from home, leaving the keys in a safe place. We arrived home the following day to a fixed car. Excellent service.
