Unfortunately (or fortunately) the fault had cleared itself by the time A Bana called. However he did a diagnostic and found nothing wrong. He was very helpful and apologetic that he was late arriving due to a lengthy call. He had called to confirm this.

I wasn't there myself but I got Ahmed to inspect the vehicle on my behalf. He left additional notes/comments on the 2 or 3 ticks that showed up as "fair" and explained further. Ahmed also spoke to the dealer who was able to get these small repairs done before I collected the car. I only have the car 2 days and drove it from the UK to Ireland (5 hour drive) so far, I am very happy with the car. (BMW 320cd Auto 2009).
