With twin 5yr olds, suddenly you realise the difficulties without the vehicle. Thankfully, car was back on the road in no time.

Mechanic arrived on time. Didn’t spend too much time looking at the issue and quickly diagnosed mass flywheel fault as the problem based on sound. He provided me with a quote to repair which was £1200+. Managed to get the van to a local garage a few days later with the recommendation of flywheel needing to be replaced. Arrived at the local garage, where the mechanic diagnosed quickly that it was in fact the EGR pipe/gasket as there was a release of air movement at the back of the engine, which could be felt. This cost just £290 fitted.
