Land Rover Discovery Sport Water pump replacement

The mechanic turned up on time - he said he would be 2 hours but was 4 hours, started to become worried as never used this company before, rang him several times and texted him - no reply.
He eventually turned up with the car, I paid for a pump and coolant etc.
When I got in the car the coolant light came on, tried ringing him again several times nothing - texted him nothing.......... it was only when I went to write a bad review he replied saying he had gone home, said it was a blockage in the system but seems like he didn't put enough coolant in.
Also as he wasn't vat registered my warranty wouldn't cover the work - I wasn't given this option and didn't understand that some are not.
I needed the invoice made out to the warranty company ( before I knew he wasn't vat registered) the mechanic said its the office and the office said its the mechanic....

Im really sorry for your experience with us and as stated the other day i was unaware this was for a warranty company as you had stated nothing in the job description. the job was carried out to a very high standard it was just unfortunate there was an air lock not a blockage this can happen when the full system is drained i was willing to come back out and top up the fluid as it had dropped just below the sensor. as for not answering the phone as i am on my own in the garage i do not like to take my attention from customers vehicles as distractions can cause catastrophic errors i did get back to you as soon as i could.
Again i can only apolagise and if you have any further questions please open a case in the resolution center
