How can we help?
Battery: Battery has 12v, does it still need changing?
Batteries only have a certain lifespan after which the electrolyte cells begin to deteriorate. Whilst a battery may show a voltage reading of 12-13v the actual storage capacity and therefore power is reduced and they begin to fail.
Even when “jump starting”, if there are failed cells it may prevent the full current going around the circuit and the only course of action is to replace it with a new battery.
You can select the replacement online from our menu's or to obtain a quote for this work, please complete our enquiry form for one of our mechanics in residence to prepare one for you
