How can we help?
Clutch: My clutch slave cylinder has gone, do I need to replace the clutch as well?
If your vehicle has what is known as a Concentric Slave Cylinder (CSC). This type of slave cylinder is part of the internal clutch mechanism and is part of the replacement clutch kit.
The whole clutch kit needs to be removed to change it and therefore its not only pointless putting a worn clutch back in, if it has been leaking, the clutch hydraulic fluid will have impregnated into the clutch friction plates rendering them useless
You can select clutch replacement online from our site or if you are unsure whether your car has this set-up, please complete our enquiry form for one of our mechanics in residence to advise you accordingly
