Engine: I have over filled my oil

The only way to return the oil to the correct level is to drain it all out and start again with a new filter. We strongly suggest you do not start the engine until this is done. Overfilling with oil will cause an increase in oil pressure inside the engine and that can cause significant damage, including throwing a piston out of the side of the block!
