What is an IP Rating?

The IP rating is represented by two digits: the first digit refers to protection against solid particles, while the second digit refers to protection against liquids.

When selecting an EV charger, consider the environmental conditions where it will be installed. For outdoor installations or in areas prone to moisture or dust, a higher IP rating is recommended to ensure durability and safety.
