Dan was first class,he was a day late but not his fault as he explained why,when he couldn't make it on Saturday we arranged for a Sunday so no problem.I was kept up to date with his day on Saturday and it was obvious he was not going to make it,so we all new where we were.

However, due to another job overrunning didn’t attend on the day originally booked for repair. Communication from that point was poor with me having to chase numerous times

Apologies for slow communication on my part. Currently with staff off on holiday I'm running as a one man band, so in-between driving to jobs and being on jobs and customers in the garage I'm trying to keep on top of things as much as I can. Vauxhall Corsa Car Won't Start Inspection

Dan rang very late and asked to reschedule first thing the following morning, which I agreed to, then Dan did not turn up until nearly dinner time said day, Dan then said he would provide feedback to which he did not and I had to contact Dan again to which no feedback was really given, overall not a good experience

Hi Tom. Apologies for your thoughts on your experience. It's a shame that you left a negative review and I pride myself on my service. Just to note, when completing the job I passed all the details over as my busy schedule wouldn't have allowed for such a fast fix so I was hoping someone would have put together a quote for you to come and swap the sensor quicker than I could.
Also just to note, that I diagnosed the issue which upon conversation you said a few other people had looked at it and we're unable to come up with a solution. Just scanning a vehicle for diagnostic codes is what I would say isn't the best service, whereas I went more in depth and took readings for all the sensors and tried to come up with the most reasonable cost effective solution as a place to start l, which I would personally say is a little more than the previous people did.
Again though, I apologise that you feel you had a negative experience on this occasion.

Dan was early to come to the car (which suited us fine and he called to ask if it was okay or he’d have come at the later time) The car had been in at another garage who had misdiagnosed it, which Dan was really quick to diagnose. It needed different parts so it went to his garage where he fixed the repair and kept myself and my son (his car) updated on the progress and said he would show my son a few things on how to look after and maintain the engine, which is going the extra mile. Really friendly guy on the phone (I am in Scotland and the car is in Darlington) I trusted him even though no local knowledge of the area or reputable garages. Dan is such a lovely gentleman and very knowledgeable when reporting back about the car we wanted checking. He even phoned me as he knew we needed feedback quicker than waiting for the written report. The viewing arrangements were a little in the air and we had a mix-up with timings with the seller... Dan even turned up when the seller was out and this wasn't an issue. I would highly recommend him.
