Assured me everything is ok apart from wear and tear due to the age of the car
and pointed out a few items that need to be addressed in the future, which i will probably be able to fix myself.
Pointed out and showed me the wheel bearings are safe and secure and pointed out the knocking came from the exhaust system which was offset which he kindly pushed back into position
Job done.
My panic was due to an advisory at my last MOT that mt O/S wheel bearing slight wear
Poorly diagnosed and two other faults again poorly Diagnosed ---- yet another garage creating work at my expense.
Thanks to your Mechanic Michael he saved me a great deal of unnecessary expense and pointed out to me that some wear and tear will have to be addressed in the future but for the time being everything is secure.
I wish all Mechanics were as true as Micheal, the world be a happier.
